Established in 1989 by local resident Lee Thompson, SweetP’s was named after his wife, Pat, his very own Sweet P. While the shop has changed hands a few times since then, it has always been owned by a local family. Current owners, Cheryl & Scott Harger have lived in Ivoryton since 1998. They love being small business owners in one of the best small towns in America, historic and charming Essex, CT.
