About Us

Established in 1989 by local resident Lee Thompson, SweetP’s was named after his wife, Pat, his very own Sweet P. While the shop has changed hands a few times since then, it has always been owned by a local family. Current owners, Cheryl & Scott Harger have lived in Ivoryton since 1998 and also own Essex Indoor Golf Center. They love being small business owners in one of the best small towns in America, historic and charming Essex, CT.
